Mane Defense Fly Repellers
Made with all natural, organic essential oils that are safe for horses and any animals.
Mane Defense Fly Repellers repel all bugs including ticks.
A great option for when if your horse hates fly spray or if you can not make it out to the barn multiple times a day to give them a spray.
Braid them into the mane or tail or clip them on your saddle when you ride.
If your horse wears them 24/7 they last 4-6 weeks.
They come in a pack of two.
Mane Defense Fly Repellers contain the following Essential oils: Neem Oil, Patchouli Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Peppermint Oil, Rosemary Oil, Geranium Oil, Lavender Oil, Frankincense Oil & gel aroma beads.
**If your horse has a sensitivity to any of the oils used, a custom fly repeller can be created by removing whatever oil your horse has sensitivity to.
Helpful tips:
If your horse likes to rub on trees, fences etc I would suggest braiding it in the mane/tail and securing the bottom of the braid with two rubber bands to try to ensure it doesn’t come loose or fall out.
If you have multiple horses pastured together you can braid them behind some hair in the mane/tail. You can also split your horse’s mane and braid the repeller in under the braid so when you fold the mane back over right it will be under the braid. If your horses are younger/like to be playful I would suggest putting them in their tail so their buddy doesn’t try to pull it out.
If your horses like to groom each other putting it more towards the ears is good too if you put it in the mane.
